A Nanny for
Every Reason
When I started The Traveling
Nanny, I realized that there was a need for different types of nannies.
Sometimes parents needed a temporary nanny
till the right full time nanny could be found. Sometimes a mother wanted a
baby nanny to help her with her first born for
a few months to help her adjust to the demands of motherhood. After the birth of
a second child, the parents may want some baby help again, but this time they
also needed help with the toddler as well. The majority of baby nurses
traditionally only help with the newborn, and I realized that there was a need
for an extended baby nanny:
someone who could help with the newborn during the night, keep the house going
and when possible give some hours to help with the other child during the
morning.
Many of my clients wanted to do
more traveling with their spouse. They dreamed of a couple get-away or a family
vacation that would include both the children and couple time. I realized an
extended care nanny could take care
of the children and house so the couple could take some time off as a couple. A
traveling nanny could travel with the
family providing an extra hand through airports and flights, childcare when the
couple wanted some private time and disappearing when they wanted family time.
There’s nothing worse than planning activities only to have one of the children
get sick, throwing everyone’s plans into disarray because one parent has to stay
in with the sick child. As a Traveling Nanny,
I can make sure that no matter what happens the family can still enjoy their
vacation.
