In September of 2007 I was fortunate to have clients who were professional bridge players and the USA womans and Man’s team had qualified for the tournament in Shanghai.  The husband was on the man’s team and the wife was on the woman’s team.  They had a ten year old son they wanted to take with them but knew they needed a travel nanny if he was going to be able to see the sites of this amazing city.  They were tied up in tournaments all day so it would be the duty of the travel nanny to find what their was of interest to a ten year old to see, how to get there and back to the hotel, be creative for the days we might not be able to go out due to weather and also make sure he kept his homework up.  Luckily for me, they chose me to be that travel nanny.
